This afternoon we popped over to Weston Shore on Southampton Water on the off chance we might see a Great Northern Diver, but alas no such luck. I'm not familiar with this side of Southampton Water and to be honest I prefer it over the opposite side in Hythe but it was a nice change. My husbands parents used to bring him here as a young boy, so it brought back some nice family memories for him. We went for a walk and saw our first curlew and brent geese of the year.
